January 2021 Bulletin
Dear Rotarians,
Happy New Year to you all! I truly hope 2021 brings you and your loved ones, good vibes, fantastic health and many occasions of laughter and hugs.
I hope you have had a wonderful holiday period with your loved ones and perhaps came to the rescue of the sad ones like myself who had their flights cancelled to NSW. O well, as I say to myself, when I do get to meet my family (eventually!), there will be delicious food, eventful stories and proud moments of how we did our best to keep our communities safe.
Sharing with you the first issue of 2021 as we bid farewell to the first month of 2021 which seems to have flown by with the speed of light. Mentally I am still watching Christmas movies and listening to Mariah Carey’s ‘All I want for Christmas Is You’!
Have a beautiful February folks! It is my favourite month of the year 😊
Please save the evening of 4th February, Thursday for our first meeting of the year. 6:45pm for a 7pm start via Zoom, Rodney will be sending through details soon.

December Meeting
The Rotary Club of Footscray members met face to face in the second week of December at 540 Barkly St, Footscray. The enjoyable evening found members catching up with each other after what seemed like an year! Rodney, Club Secretary chaired the meeting and organised a probing quiz that kept everyone mettle and entertained. Jama, Club President spoke about the New Year and provided gifts for the ladies’ present. $330 raised for the Foodbank, enough to provide 600 meals.
Maria provided Christmas music and together with Suzanne, worked their magic to create Christmas atmosphere with decorations on the table. Wonderful to see Jama in a colourful jacket!
