A service of celebration for the lives of Lauchie and Marie Wright was held recently. Lauch died in April 2020 during a COVID lockdown, preventing a formal funeral. On the recent passing of his wife Marie the family decided to hold a joint celebration of their parents lives.
Lauch was a significant member of the club over 60 years, and it is appropriate to reflect on his contribution to the club with reflections from Frank Brown (dec) at the time of his death and John Granger who spoke at last week’s service.
We meet every first and third Thursday at 6:30 pm for a 7:00 pm start at the Plough Hotel in Footscray.
We regularly host engaging guest speakers, and everyone is welcome. We offer warm fellowship, and we’re confident you’ll enjoy meeting our members - many of whom have impressive careers and achievements.
