Our last meeting for the year on Dec 18 featured a special meal, a Christmas trivia quiz and the AGM of the club fund.
The quiz was won by the “wizard of quiz”, Jamie Robertson.
Thanks to Rodney for coming up with some interesting and probing questions about Christmas.
During the evening the AGM of FRACS (Footscray Rotary Aged care and Community Service Fund) was conducted. Darcy Brennan presented his President's Report and the financial statements were explained by Elia Andriotis.
The fund is in an excellent position and with its performance over the last twelve months will be in a strong position to make significant contributions to community projects in 2026. Members were asked to nominate not for profit organisations as potential recipients for the next round of grants.
