On Sunday 23rd March members participated in the WalkWest fundraiser conducted by Western Health Foundation along the Maribyrnong River. With donations from members and friends the club raised $1000 which will support funding a surgical robot to assist with complex abdominal surgery, particularly prostatic surgery and some bowel cancer operations. The overall result for the day was over $150,000, a remarkable outcome. Given the support of Western Health to the Horn of Africa Project it was good for the club to be involved.
