Tweddle have acknowledged the On behalf of the Tweddle Board, management, staff and families, we would like to thank the Rotary Club of Footscray for the $5000 grant and for the opportunity to purchase outdoor furniture and Aboriginal resources for Tweddle staff and families.
Tweddle’s recent expansion meant we had new outdoor spaces but no furniture. The new tables and chairs have been well utilised by staff, especially over the summer months. Our outdoor storage bench provides a wonderful space to pack away outdoor toys. Our clinical staff (especially our Play Facilitators) are especially thrilled with our new First Nations resources. These are important resources for when Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families stay with us, and for play during NAIDOC Week, Aboriginal Children’s Week and Reconciliation Week.
