Stationery for Primary Schools Arrives in Timor Leste Schools

Just before Christmas our stationery destined for schools arrived in Dili. As the schools are in a remote area that is difficult to access especially in the wet season the supplies have just been distributed in one of the schools the Uaime Elementary School. Other schools will soon receive their supplies.

Rotary International Convention Event

Our cluster is involved in a Club Hospitality Event on Monday 29th May at the Clocktower in Moonee Ponds. Full details and booking arrangements are included later in the Bulletin.Rotarians and friend are invited and this is a great opportunity to be part of the convention. You do not need to have signed up for the conference to attend this event. You will be able to meet and talk with Rotarians from around the world and help to make this a memorable occasion for them.

Four volunteers from our club are needed to help on the night. Induction sessions will be held on the 8th and 18th May and it would be helpful if you were able to attend one of these sessions. Can you help? Please let me know by the end of the month.

I look forward to seeing you all in the weeks ahead.

 Maria Silber - President
