Christmas meeting
A large turn out and a festive atmosphere at our Christmas meeting made for a an enjoyable night. It was great to have an international guest - Stephen McGrath had flown in to spend Christmas with Peter and joined us for the evening.
The tables were decorated appropriately and a Christmas quiz, including many esoteric questions, tested members and guests. The 20 questions from quizmaster Maria Silber, were answered by pairs of members and friends. Such was the difficulty of the quiz the winners, President Bob Newman and Graeme Thompson scored of meagre 7!
The highlight of the night was the drawing of the Christmas raffle. The winners: First Prize Maria Silber with 6 runners up: Michelle Carew, Mel Scott, Jamie Robertson, Vincent Verduci, Joy Thompson, Kevin Field
