BBQ at Mt Martha
On Sunday 5th February we ventured to Mt Martha to join Vince, Carol, their daughter Michelle and grandchildren. The whole family worked together to welcome everyone and to provide a wonderful BBQ with Italian style sausages, steak and chicken. The accompanying salads were absolutely delicious and then the decadent desserts followed. It was a great opportunity for everyone to have time to catch up and talk in a more relaxed atmosphere outside of the regular Rotary meetings. No-one was brave enough to swim, even though the beach was directly opposite as he weather was lovely but a bit chilly for swimming. Some people made the trek down to the beach and then had an uphill walk on the way back. Jamie complained that his leg muscles were sore the next day.
Thank you to Carol and Vince for their hospitality - it was a wonderful day and really good to see Margaret Atley there.
